Custom I-Beam Staircase for Private Residence

CJ Steelworks was commissioned by a private client to design and manufacture a custom staircase that combines structural strength with a refined, modern appearance. The staircase was constructed using heavy-duty steel I-beams to provide a strong and durable structural framework. Solid Meranti wood was used for the staircase steps, adding a warm natural finish that contrasts beautifully with the steel structure. To ensure safety while maintaining the overall design aesthetic, a custom steel balustrade was installed with a Meranti wood handrail, creating a clean and elegant finish. As part of the project, CJ Steelworks also fabricated and installed a large first-floor landing platform to provide safe and comfortable access between levels. The completed installation delivers a striking architectural feature that combines industrial steel construction with the natural beauty of Meranti wood, perfectly suited for a modern private home.
